- ESL Monkeys is a site full of information for teachers and students of English. For teachers there are lessons, discussion groups and job listings. For students there are listings of school, help with essay and resume writing and discussion forums as well as lot of other useful information.
- Shambles.net/English is a website primarily designed to support International Schools in S.E.Asia but which is also used by other teachers and students. It is run by Chris Smith who lives in Chiangmai, Thailand and runs a consultancy "The Education Project Asia". Previously he worked with The English Schools Foundation in Hong Kong for 24 years. This page on his website is specifically designed to provide links to resources that support teachers of English and their students.

ESL Flow is one of the best sites for teachers and it originates right here in Bangkok. It is run by a very dedicated teacher named Peter Snashall. The site is a collection of links to communicative activities on a variety of topics at the elementary, pre-intermediate and intermediate levels.

If you are looking for English language exercises to do on-line, try this site. There are over 100 free vocabulary, grammar and reading comprehension exercises available and more are added all the time.

Our newest link is this one to the British Council free website which offers a wealth of fun and good learning for students of English. There is support for many languages and the site offers songs, stories, poems, grammar games, tests, a magazine, and an opportunity to send postcards among many other fun activities. You can enter the site as a child, a teen or an adult. Try it out.

This is a wonderful site for anyone wanting to know anything about Thailand. The site is created, written and illustrated by a Nattawud Daoruang. He started the site when he was a 14-year-old student and is also the photographer for his own and other Thai sites. He writes honestly about his life, his mistakes and the consequesnce. You'll also be amazed by more than 800 pictures, information about everything from Buddhism to radio stations and explanations of daily life in this modern country.

Here is a site that is sure to grow rapidly. It is presently a network of 64 Thai secondary schools and more are being added all the time. Much of the content is in Thai, but there is also a significant portion in English.

If you don't know about the About.com website, you are really missing soemthing. Actually it's a huge collection of websites, each focusing on a different subject. Each is run by a "guide" who scours the Internet for websites relevant to the topic. The EFL/ESL section is excellent and you might want to begin there. Look also at education as well as the section for Primary and Secondary Education which has a wealth of resources for teachers, parents and students of all ages.

There’s also a place called Teachers’ Inn where you can link to lesson plans on a vast variety of topics.
