kaanchumnum luuksua loek

Sawatdee piimai kha everybody! I hope you all did have safe and happy New Year celebrations with your special ones. A big group of nearly twenty thousands representatives from 136 countries, though, celebrated their New Year in a completely different atmosphere, far away from home in a challenging, courageous and adventurous environment in an exotic country. They were contingents in the 2002's world scouts jamboree the first ever organised here in Thailand. An occasion like this doesn't only bring people together, but it also opens doors for sharing and learning cultures, for sharing experiences, learning survival skills and demanding courage among the young people attending. As an ex-girl guide, a former girl guide leader, and a mother of two boy scouts, I value scout camp very high as an excellent way of building survival skills and discipline. The event is increasingly more valuable when at the international level like this one. Today is the last day of this world event which began since December 28 at the campsite at Haad Yao beach in Sattahip, Rayong. This week let's listen to two people recapping the happening and its activities.
