In the recent cabinet reshuffle, Chart Pattana Party was dropped from the government coalition. It had been widely rumoured that the party’s adviser and former leader Mr Korn Dabbaransi and deputy leader Pol Pracha Promnok would be defecting to Thai Rak Thai. A few days after the reshuffle, Mr Korn submitted his resignation from the party. This Post Today excerpt has the details of what TRT leader Mr Thaksin Shinawatra said in response to Mr Korn’s defection.
