In September 1999 Hangthong Thammawattana, a Prachakorn Thai MP, died from a gunshot wound. Police ruled his death as suicide. Unconvinced with the ruling, his sister, Narumol Mangkornpanich, has sought a second opinion by sending 100 pictures of the crime scene to forensic experts at Strathclyde University in Scotland. The conclusion by the Scottish experts was the late MP could have been murdered. This Matichon report has more detail as well as relevant words for reading similar stories.
