| As of August 20, 2004, Thailand had garnered four Olympic medals all of which came from four women weightlifters superb performances. Nong Orn or Udomporn Polsak is the first woman Olympic gold medallist. Aree Wirathavorn and Wandee Kameiam won two bronze medals. The fourth medal, which is the second gold, came from Pawina Kameaim. The previous two golds came from boxers, Somluck Kamsing in 1996 and Wijan Ponrid in 2000. In todays conversation, Aew and Ian are chatting about the reward money the medallists will get from jubilant supporters. |
