Vocabulary check: As usual, there are a few Thai usages
worth looking at more closely. First, the ending particle for yes/no
question roe (เหรอ) as in khun la mai damnam roe.
Actually roe is the colloquial or spoken version of rue
(หรือ rising tone). So your written version of the same question would
be khun la mai damnam
Second is the expression trongnai as in kaandamnam Vocabulary check: How do you say these words and phrases in Thai?
|

Phuut Phaasaa Thai gives you useful topical and seasonal Thai words and phrases used in daily-life conversations. The column will give you some instant Thai language to help you out in common situations.
