    August 3: phra raachinii  — HM the Queen sponsored the royal cremation for a private.

JULY 2004

    July 20: nuueameyk  — Mr Thaksin is accused of being crafty.
    July 13: prachum eyt look  — XV International AIDs Conference.
    July 06: pratuu ngoen  — Greece beat Czech with the silver goal.

JUNE 2004

    June 29: "lian"  — Italy's team fall out of the competition.
    June 22: "singtoo"  — The "Lions" bit Switzerland.
    June 15: tun  — Gas stations store up petrol.
    June 8: krachuut  — World oil prices surged.

MAY 2004

    May 25: khii keng  — Passenger car drivers will pay more for gasoline.
    May 18: khaiwatyai  — Beware of the flu at the beginning of the rainy season.
    May 11: jawm bongkaan  — 'Lukman' is the mastermind of May 28's bloodbath.

APRIL 2004

    February 3: hueng  — The dismissal of a senior livestock authority is rumoured.

JANUARY 2004

    January 27: khaw raw maw  — The cabinet led by Mr Thaksin had an all-chicken menu.
    January 20: hoem  — Southern bandits were in high spirits.
    January 13: roongphak  — Betong police were able to defend a tambon police station.
    January 6: sie saksii  — To die is better than to loose dignity .
