Language check:
Lets look at the expressions with diew and variations. First, diew kan means same, as in
rao pai jangwat diew kan (we went to the same
province). Other common expressions with this meaning are: Secondly, the phrase khon diew means alone as in phom
pai khon diew (I went alone.) Sounding similar to diew kan but actually different in use is
the expression muuean kan, which means also, too, in
