NCCC (list) follows government's wish, Thaksin's friend comes first Post Today Voting for NCCC nominees went as expected. All are intimates of members of the cabinet. The Senate spent 12 hours selecting nominees for the National Counter Corruption Commission (NCCC). 149 senators were present at the meeting and nominees selected had to obtain more than 101 votes. Those selected in order of the highest to the lowest number of votes were: 1. Pol. Lieut. Col. Wanchai Srinualnad, former assistant police commander and a classmate of the prime minister from group 26, Post Today Wednesday 2 November 2005 |
