'Meo' said he wouldn't be so shameless as to stay if the people didn't want (him)

When questioned on his statement that people's reactions to the government's work must be regularly monitored and whether he considered the "Sondhi phenomenon" every Friday as one such reaction, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said there were 63 million citizens and the government could only listen to a small amount of them. However, that didn't mean that the government had to follow what listened, but weak points must be corrected.
