| kawn, chin, lem, daam
Remember the classifiers bai and tua from last week? Let's move on
to a few more. The key pattern should be easy for you. A noun with
a numbered classifier has the reverse word order from English; e.g.,
"a piece of cake" [cake one piece = kheyk nueng chin]. Classifiers
this week are kawn, chin, lem and daam.
Follow this week's conversation to find out which words take which
classifiers. |
