Hooray! Petrol 40 satang lower Chaiwat Choorit, acting PTT executive vice-president, said the fact the world oil prices had declined allowed the company to lower its retail prices by 40 satang per litre effective today (October 26). The new price of octane 95 gasoline is 26.54 baht per litre, octane 91 costs 25.74 baht, and gasohol 95 is 25.04 baht per litre. Diesel price still stays at 23.79 baht per litre because the Energy Fund Administration Institute raised from 50 satang to 1.10 baht per litre the portion it takes from diesel sales to pay off the Oil Fund subsidy debt.
