Man snatches vendor's necklace, stabs and seriously injures good samaritan

At 20:30 yesterday, Police Captain Chumchai Akhala, a patrol officer chief, was informed of a necklace robbery. Two good samaritans were stabbed with a knife and seriously injured by the criminal.

The incident occurred at the beginning of Lat Prao Soi 48, Lat Prao Road, Sam Sen Nok, Huay Khwang, Bangkok. Captain Chumchai, together with patrol officers, rushed to the scene.

At the scene, a good samaritan helped in arresting a criminal whose named was later identified as Nam Pradapya, 21. Another criminal, alias "Nai Lek", 30, who, aided by the chaos, jumped into Lat Prao canal and was able to flee from the scene.
