Sanoh Thienthong, alias "The Godfather of Wang Nam Yen", a big faction in the Thai Rak Thai Party, has had several run-ins with the party. The last straw was believed to be the dispute over Khunying Jaruvan Maintaka's status as the head of the Thai Office of the Auditor-General, in which Mr Sanoh strongly supported her. In its June 21 TRT executive committee meeting, the party removed him from his post. This Post Today excerpt has more details.
