TRT curries favour with Bangkokians on a grand scale Post Today The Thai Rak Thai Party is trying to please Bangkokians with all its might by seeking the cabinet's approval for a flat 10-baht rate for air-conditioned bus fares. The party also promised a flat rate of 20 baht for the skytrain as well Transport Minister Pongsak Raktapongpaisal said that in the TRT Party's general meeting two weeks ago, Mr Thaksin had ordered the purchase of 2,000 air-conditioned busses and the fares were expected to be charged at a flat rate of 10 baht. Phuut Thai Kap Khaao At the Thai Rak Thai Party's annual seminar, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra promised to carry out a number of projects aimed at reviving the party's popularity, especially among Bangkokians - a group where the party is suffering a serious crisis of faith.
