Frank:	rûp chût ní nâsǒnchāi mâk	รูปชุดนี้น่าสนใจมาก	This set of pictures is very interesting.
Chai:	pēn chût thî sàdāeng phrá-àtchàríyáphâp khǒng nāilǔang	เป็นชุดที่แสดงพระ อัจฉริยภาพของในหลวง	It’s a set that displays His Majesty the King’s talents.
Frank:	rûp râek nì dūmǔean phrá-ōng sōng kāmlāng tàeng phlēng	รูปแรกนี่ดูเหมือนพระองค์ ทรงกำลังแต่งเพลง	The first one looks like he’s writing a sōng .
Chai:	châi láeo sōng phrárâtcháníphōn phlēng wái thángmòt sìsìphòk phlēng	ใช่แล้ว ทรงพระราชนิพนธ์ เพลงไว้ทั้งหมด ๔๖ เพลง	That’s right. He has written 46 sōng s altogether.

Chai:	châi sōng chêochān rûeang ní mâk mâk	ใช่ ทรงเชี่ยวชาญเรื่องนี้ มากๆ	Yes, he’s a real expert in this pastime.
Frank:	ūmm rûp ní sōng rūeabāi	อือม์ รูปใหญ่นี่ทรงเรือใบ	And in this big picture, he’s sailing.
Chai:	châi sōng lōng khàeng dûai láe dâirâp rĭenthōng nāi kānkhàengkhǎn kīlā lǎemthōng khráng thî sì phō sǒ sǒng phān hâa rói sìp	ใช่ ทรงลงแข่งด้วยและ ได้รับเหรียญทองในการ แข่งกีฬาแหลมทองครั้งที่ ๔ พ.ศ.๒๕๑๐	That’s right. He competed and won a gold medal in the Fourth Seap Games in 1967.

His Majesty’s many talents / phrá-àtchàríyáphâp
This is the fifth instalment of a six-part series on the celebrations for the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne. Today, we look at the lighter side of his life, including his pastimes as a composer, musician, painter, photographer and a championship sailor.
HM the King has devoted most of his time and energy to projects to improve the lives of his people, but somehow he has also found time over the years to develop his various talents. In December 1951 His Majesty composed a song, phon pi mai, as a New Year's present to the people of Thailand. The song is now sung on January 1 every year and has become a part of our tradition. When he won a gold medal in the Fourth Seap Games in 1967, he sailed in an OK Class boat that he designed and built himself.
King Bhumibol's skills in photography provide him with professional quality pictures that are crucial for his many projects that improve the living standards of Thai people.
Again this week, the lesson is about the words and phrases used in talking about HM the King's talents and other related common words in natural Thai.
