Bob:	láeo kēm kàp phǒn kān khàengkhǎn lâ pēn yāng-ngāi bâng	แล้วเกมกับผลการแข่งขันล่ะ เป็นยังไงบ้าง	What was the game like and what was the result?
Nui:	hé hé  khūn yà bòk ná wâ khūn mâi dâi dū	เฮ ้เฮ้! คุณอย่าบอกนะ ว่าคุณไม่ ได้ดู!	Hey, hey! Don’t tell me you didn’t watch the game!
Bob:	kô   mâi chōeng ná  bàep wâ phǒm phlǒe làp pāi lǎng chàk thî dū pāi dâi sàk sìphâ nāthī râek	ก็ไม่เชิงนะ แบบว่า ผมเผลอ หลับไปหลังจากที่ดูไปได้สัก 15 นาทีแรก	Not quite. I fell asleep after the first fifteen minutes.
Nui:	wá  mān pēn kēm thî tông dū lōei ná	ว้า... มันเป็นเกมที่ ต้องดูเลยนะ	Gosh! It was a game not to be missed.
Bob:	thāmmāi thî tông dū lâ	ทำไมที่ต้องดูล่ะ	How come?
Nui:	âo  kô   Māen Sítî mī khūnsūe mài  Sàwēn gnāi  thǎem mī náktè mài khâo mā kùeap yók tīm  mān tháthāi kūnsūe tīm khûpràp dī ná	อ้าว ก้อแมนซิตี้มีกุนซือใหม่ สเว็นไง แถมมีนักเตะใหม่เข้ามา เกือบยกทีม มันท้าทายกุนซือทีม คู่ปรับดีนะ	Ah, Man City has a new manager – Sven (-Goran Eriksson)! The team has also recruited many new players. This is very challenging for its archrival’s manager.
Bob:	ōe  chīng sì ná  sǐadāi  phǒm mâi dâi dū  wâ tàe khrāi cháná lâ	เออ จริงสินะ เสียดายผมไม่ได้ดู ว่าแต่ใครชนะล่ะ	Yeah, that’s true. It’s a shame I missed it. Who won?
Nui:	hóe Māen Sítî.. Chìwānnî yīng pràtū thōn dâi nāi nāthī thî sǎmsìp-èt	เฮ้อ... แมนซิตี้  จิวานนี ยิงประตู โทนได้ในนาทีที่ 31	What’s a shame, Man City. Geovanni struck the only goal within the thirty-first minute.
Bob:	ngán Man City kô cháná sǎm nât rûat láeo sì	งั้น แมนซิตี้ก็ชนะ 3 นัดรวด แล้วสิ	That means that Man City has won three straight matches.
Nui:	châi  pēn chàfǔng lōei mī kâo khánāen	ใช่ เป็นจ่าฝูงเลยมี 9 คะแนน	Right, and is the leader of the table with nine points.
Bob:	hé  phûean  nî phôeng tôn rúdū ēng  tông phût wâ pēn chàfǔng “chûakhrāo” pāi kòn	เฮ้! เพื่อน นี่เพิ่งต้นฤดูเอง ต้อง พูดว่า เป็นจ่าฝูง“ชั่วคราว” ไป ก่อน	Don’t worry, friend! This is just the beginning of the season. We should say the “temporary” leader.
Nui:	ōe  chīng sì ná	เออ จริงสินะ	Eh, that’s true.
Bob:	chāi yēn yēn phûean  mī ìk lǎi kēm nák	ใจเย็นๆ เพื่อน มีอีกหลายเกมนัก	Take it easy, friend! There are many more games to come!

One of the early matches was the Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City. Man U is the most favorite team among Thai football fans, and Man City is now owned by the former Thai prime minister. M an City has attracted great media attention in the league's homeland and the owner's native Thailand. Man City's new club manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson, is managing at the club level for the first time. His personality is one that galvanizes fans and members of the football society.
