World-class brands of supercars and timepieces are luxuries that carry a long history of craftsmanship and innovation in their manufacture. With their common features of creating technological excellence, reliability, innovation and performance, supercar companies and watchmakers have constantly come together as partners to launch their products as exclusive editions around the world.

To bring this to Thai people's attention, The Emporium shopping complex has co-operated with several world famous supercar brands and watch brands to create the "Emporium Speed of Time" event. It will showcase 14 pairs of supercars and exquisite timepieces from June 22-29.

"At this innovative event, timepieces and top-class supercars will be showcased together for the first time in the Asia-Pacific region, and it's truly a source of pride for us," said Kriengsak Tantiphipop, senior managing director of The Emporium.

The 14 highlighted pairings are:

Ferrari California and Panerai's Ferrari

California Chronograph Flyback 45mm

 

- The limited edition Ferrari California Chronograph Flyback 45mm timepiece features Ferrari's famous prancing horse logo, dials with 'Ferrari California' insignias, buttons and convex crystal. This is the very first time for the Ferrari California to make its way to Thailand.

 

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 and Blancpain's Super Trofeo Flyback Chronograph

 

- The gleaming Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is the latest in Lamborghini racing series, while Blancpain Super Trofeo Flyback Chronograph is an outstanding sports timepiece with flyback function, state-of-the-art design and cutting-edge technology.

 

Bentley Continental GTC and Breitling for Bentley Motor T

 

- Breitling and Bentley were born from the same passion for perfection and prestige. In 2002, Breitling made the dashboard clock for the Bentley Continental GT, the most powerful model ever. A year later, the brand supported the British maker's triumphant return to Le Mans 24 Hours by sponsoring Team Bentley. This partnership led to a new collection of timepieces called Breitling for Bentley, powered by chronometer-certified mechanical self-winding and distinguished by special technical features.

 

Maserati GranTurismo 4.2 and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Carbon Concept Tourbillon and Chronograph

- Maserati and Audemars Piguet were built on three fundamental philosophies - excellence, innovation and tradition. The Swiss watchmaking firm Audemars Piguet has produced a number of watches to commemorate Maserati's achievements on the circuit. The pairing this time portrays the fluid sense of style and the sterling reputation for fine design and engineering shared by the two brands.
