Muslim students from the deep South attend English camp and benefit from exposure to Bangkok
For the first time recently 60 Muslim students from Thailand's three southernmost provinces _ Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat _ had a chance to spend two whole weeks in Bangkok. They enjoyed every moment of their stay and at the end of it they were a completely transformed bunch.
These Muslim students enjoy their first outing at Madame Tussauds museum, posing with wax images of world personalities.
The students were in Bangkok to attend Smart Teens English Camp 2011, organised by the Siam Cement Group and the Bangkok Post Foundation, with the Islamic Centre as the venue. And what an experience it turned out to be.
