The parade of new malls that opened back to back over the past 12 months is clear proof that Bangkokians are serious shopaholics

One of the better ways to describe the character of people is perhaps to look at the place where they live.

A couple weeks after its first debut in October, Terminal 21 managed to draw some 50,000 to 60,000 visitors a day, even during the city’s unpremeditated evacuation.

So, just as how Thais are perceived as keen gastronomes due to the Kingdom's reputation as a culinary paradise, one might as well say that the residents of the City of Angels are natural-born shoppers.
