Thich Nhat Hanh, a highly revered Zen monk, will make a pilgrimage to Thailand along with 80 monks from Plum Village in France from October 11 to 30 on the invitation of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya Buddhist University. On this occasion, he will lead a dharma retreat and two dharma talks under the topic of "Peaceful Mind, Open Heart", with the aim to strengthen ties between Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism.

During his stay in Thailand, Thich Nhat Hanh will deliver two dharma talks - the first on "Miracle of Here and Now" at the Main Auditorium, Thammasat University, Tha Phra Chan campus, on October 18 (doors open at 5pm), and the second on "Peace is the Way" at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Wang Noi district of Ayutthaya on October 23.
