This newly opened restaurant and bar, inspired by the Wong Kar-wai film, offers Japanese izakaya cuisine in a futuristic but romantic and vividly hued setting.

The menu is dominated by grilled and deep-fried items. Highlights include: kaisen yaki, which is baked scallops and shimeji mushrooms in a crab sauce (380 baht); the mixed yakitori set of deboned chicken, bacon, tomatoes, pork collar, eringi mushrooms and chicken liver (200 baht); atarime age, dried squid tempura (160 baht); tori teri shiso yaki, pan-fried chicken with teriyaki sauce (140 baht); and the crispy shirauo (Japanese whitebait) salad (120 baht).
