New menus on the Bangkok scene

Accessible only by boat, Praya Palazzo, a stunningly beautiful hotel on the Thon Buri bank of the Chao Phraya, is offering a special set dinner on the evening of Tuesday.

Charcoal-grilled Australian beef with rosti potato and braised red cabbage

Priced at 2,400 baht per person, this St Valentine's Day repast will begin wih a cocktail and amuse-bouche followed by a scallop salad and cream of baked tomato soup. Then a sweet pomegranate sorbet will be served to cleanse diners' palates before they proceed to the main course.

For entree, one can choose between charcoal-grilled Australian beef served with rosti and braised red cabbage or salsa-kissed salmon accompanied by chestnut puree and coriander sauce.

Wrap up your romantic evening with a warm chocolate fondant served with strawberries and followed by a cup of tea or coffee.
