i agree with you to a certain extent. chinese thai think theyre better a they have the money and the political connections etc
however i am a dark skin thai aswell but have not come accross any discrimination back home at all
i get treated well anywhere i go in thailand

The reason why marriage laws are different in thailand from western countries is just that. We are not a western country. i think that if you are a tourist in another country - you need to acknowledge that countries' rules, customs etc as a tourist, it is up to you to earn the respect and respect the locals. If you do that in thailand, i guarantee you, you will recieve that back. Thats how thai people are - in general....
