Re: EDUCATION

3) World history is almost non-existent, or only touched lightly, as Thai feel the only history that counts is Thai history. Well J1V2, you are right, but same thing goes for Thai history. Just ask a regular Thai about his history and you may found out, that they only will know some good things wit...

Re: Should Thaksin be given a \\ //// Pardon?

Hmm, isn’t he pardoning convicted criminals since years? As far as I know, nobody ever bothered. And question to you observer, if not him, who else do you reckon would have the power to pardon convicted people? I quote you: "And how is this affecting the Goverment?, this petition isnt going to ...

Re: Should Thaksin be given a \\ //// Pardon?

Let's put this in perspective...He ran away! Does that not show some irresponsibility whoever you are...but worse...he was the PM!...and ran away...There are believers in their cause...and there are real believers in their cause...they are the ones that make history...Thaksin, I'm afraid is not one...

Re: Should Thaksin be given a \\ //// Pardon?

I may repeat myself, but I say no to the pardon. Give him a fair public trial, and if he really has done wrong and acted against laws, witch were around while he apparently did wrong, then make him pay. If not, then absolve him and period. Regarding the other 5.7 million accusations, well, trial him...

Re: THAKSIN 2 – NEWIN 0

Well J1V2, seems like you have your back covered well. Yes you said what you posted before, but I remember an other topic from you, the Trojan, remember? I never thought that a guy like Newin would be clever enough to put the Trojan to work. I was always convinced, that he is just a mercenary who se...

Re: Is it just me...

The Nazi Swastika has 'arms' pointing right i.e. going in a clockwise direction. BUT the Bhuddist swastika has the arms pointing left i.e. in an anti-clockwise direction. So this symbolises Bhuddism rather than fascism. However, I do agree, it is a bit of an unfortunate symbol...considering. Well p...

Re: ALLEGED BODIES IN CONTAINERS - SLOW REACTION?

How comes that I am not surprised at all? I knew from the beginning that you could not trust those divers, probably farangs, who said that they have seen skeletons. They just wanted to put the government in a bad light. I am sure that some anti Abhi posters here will start some rumours, saying, that...

Re: Double pricing system in Thailand

I think that you did not think this one through sjb. a) “Non believers” would simply just become believers and would want to enter for free. Unless, you start issuing special Buddhists id. b) When non believers come to Europe and visit our churches and cathedrals, then they are allowed in for free, ...

That is something, I wonder myself. I really expected TG to be grounded, unless the government injected some millions into TG. But did they?

Re: David Carradine found hung in Bangkok

The fact that the Thai authorities refuse any help from the FBI compounds the suspicion that they are trying to hide something. If they were in fact sure of their 'evidence' then they ought to welcome the FBI with open arms. Perhaps they are scared someone with real investigative skills will actual...
