Re: Global icare company

I don't think there is much the embassy can do in this regards. One works in Thailand under the laws of Thailand. You must have been aware that working without a work permit is illegal too and yet you went ahead with it. Yes, you can argue that you were promised one after the probation period, but s...

Re: Global icare company

joecaliber, you're very lucky that you got the 1st month salary. They were legally not required to do that and even if you tried to sue them earlier no lawyer will advise you that you would win. Because this is a clear cut case. If worse comes to worse they will say you were freelance and were hired...

Re: Suvarnabhumi hates "Dang Dao".

I guess I'm one of the lucky one's who has never encountered a problem at the airports or with the immigration staff. On the contrary, they are always polite and some even ask "how are you?" (especially the female officers). I'm not joking! But then again I always give my passport at the i...

I think when the transfer of residence is applied for goods brought into Thailand, the person is required to stay atleast 3-6 months before s/he can leave again or so I've heard. Do check it with the customs department in Thailand once here. As mentioned above, do inquire about the shipping agent fo...

Re: Why not have more offices for 90 days reporting

You're absolutely right drake. I usually take a taxi...really can't be bothered to find a parking there. It's a shame that they give so much importance to the 90 days reporting and yet have only 1 place instated for us to report (really feels like we're on probabtion and have to report to our probab...

Why not have more offices for 90 days reporting

Hi all, I really wanna know why the Thai Immigration department doesn't have more office where foreigners can report for their 90 days which presently is only located in Chaeng wattana (except for the obvious reason that they can make 2000 baht every time it's late). I really think they should have ...
