e, all of the above
just wondering, because so far, no one has yet to put down in writing, what an "Elite" is?

What the western media are currently broadcasting compared to whats happening in BKK at the moment is so biased you can find UDD supporters who would probably agree.
Thailand being second most corrupt country in the world??? You cannot be serious that you believe that, sure there is rampant corruption coupled with poverty in Thailand, but compared to places like Zimbabwe, Sudan, Burma, Cambodia just to name a few. I could probably go through Africa and Asia and find a few places worse than Thailand, heck I am sure there are areas in Europe that would equal Thailands corruption in some areas...sorry, in my view it is just negative PR spin.
The media here took three days to mention the hospital 'invasion' and then spun it to look like the hospital was an army base...how can anyone take this bias reporting seriously...just because they got kicked out for breaking les majeste laws they have to ruin the countries image.

Just wondering. If you think Thailand is #2 in corruption, who is # 1? Frankly, I can think of a score of nations much more corrupt than Thailand (mexico, guatemala, venezuela, bolivia, peru, nicaragua--yes, there IS a theme, here--colombia, paraguay, argentina) and more violent than Thailand could ever even imagine. I suspect a lot of people have no idea how good they have it in Thailand.

My news or info doesn't come from a western media source just for the record cozz,Thailand for years have been know to be the second corrupt country on planet earth is a pure fact ,cozz Im far from a scholl boy my post are of truth and fact, sorry if you disagree but you have your right to attack my facts, as I never mentioned nothing of poverty either, might you take deep deep breathes and re-read my posting and research them then come back and maybe we can have a fact debate. Also Cozz please NEVER put words into my postings I beg of you, never once in my life did I ever even bring up the topic les majst laws. You treading very deep waters sir and I demand the webmaster to look into this sort of deframing from cozza...
bamboo_gems,
I apologise if I have offended, I sincerely did not mean to at all. I only can attack your facts if you unveil your source since it is such a well known fact, I would like to see this too? The mention of poverty is just obvious that it is something that exists in Thailand.
http://www.bangkokpost.com/business/eco ... st-corrupt
Here is a chart from the BP which has Thailand 15th in Asia, a far cry from second in the world.
Also, if you read my post properly the les majeste laws were not aimed at you but the journalists who broke it. This is a well known FACT.
