An unjust law is no law at all

An unjust law is no law at all

Well even if there isn't a law banning the communist party the government has shown that it is willing and able to disband a political party that threatens stability. I'm speaking of course about when The People Power Party was dissolved by the government. Regardless of the corruption charges don't you think its bad for politics to dissolve an entire party instead of attempting to weed out the corrupt party officials?

I have never heard that. Where did you hear that? Does the issue affect you personally? Why are you interested in it at this time?

and whether you believe there's a secret Communist Party operating within the country ?
I have never heard that before so I don't know if it's true or not. Do you believe it's true? What made you start a thread on this topic at this time?

Hi Noaksy, there was a CPT during the '50s and '60s. It was banned to appease the USA as much as anything else!

Noaksy wrote:Thanks SJB, but actually it wasn't my question. The thread was started by 'run' but 'run' has now deleted his first post in this thread. In fact, he's deleted all his posts (all the text in his posts). Why would somebody do that? It seems a bit strange to me.

It is strange to me too...? :? I would hate to have to ban somebody simply for being a pikey... I mean that would set a precedent that could be widely applied! :D

Perhaps I read too much here, "running", now "run", posted that he/she would delete all their posts every seven days and do a name change!

The CPT grew in the mid to late sixties, the USA helped the Thai government and forces by providing arms, training and money to counter the movement, many villages in the northeast were airial bombed and ground attacked.(by the Thai military and BPP)
For as long as Thailand wants anything from the USA, it will always denounce any movement even slightly related to communism.
