So the army are prepared to take a "pay cut". Wonderful, however, it says nothing about the police, navy, or airforce!
So, we give lots to the forces not mentioned, affiliate some army divisions to the afformentioned not mentioned forces and the army gets what it wants thruogh the back-door while publicly appearing to be "very nice people"

I’m no economist nor even have a clue about it but I did say before who is going to pay for all these borrowings and of course is you Genius who spends years in Universities earning a degree of some kind. Hey! You guys pays tax not us in the rural and just wait when you have to pay that 2000bth back bit by bit in your tax bills without even knowing it.

Cool and right on the money! As Thailand cuts it's teeth on the way to graduating from the Third to the First World (bye bye bargain basement Asia) the punters here have to learn that they will pay all the way...Democrat, Thaxian or Show-sha-list. You graduate, you buy better threads and a nicer car and a bigger house..it's progress dude, so get ready to put your head in the grinder every time the papers mention the word 'budget'...

Come to Isaan - we're always a generation comfortably behind the curve..and Paw's water is still free... ;)

KC, Is it you with yet another name, you should know that your rhetoric is this first indication of who you are my your post, as every post is the same, especially when you post any thing on a Foss post, for some reason you have a vendetta against her, stop it and be real and if you want to post something relevant to the topic then go ahead if not just shut up and go back into cyberspace and find any forum that you are in tune with.

RE:
Your are right! You are not an economist.
Politicians are encouraged worldwide, either by bribes OR blackmail, to borrow from the IMF new global world currency. This helps float the US dollar(since China isn't) and continue the fiat currency ponzi scheme. This was agreed at the recent G20.
China seems to be buying time as they aren't fighting against this...but on the surface appear to be going along with it, since huge dollar cash reserves and intent on modernizing their military.
Sorry your Red Thaksin isn't in charge to reap his lion's share of the corruption. His end game plan to reap the global rewards.
This is the currently part of new world agenda. Doesn't matter which party rules..
If Thai gov't didn't borrow, they would be sacked for a regime that would. Thailand the 2nd most corrupt nation in eastern Asia behind only Indonesia, earning this reputation under Thaksin regime.
Love for Thaksin (or any corrupt politicians) only encourages more of this behavior. They are all corrupt. They would sell anyone and anything for money.
Best solution for Asia is found here:http://benjaminfulford.typepad.com under May 6th.
Keep up the fight against global world dominance. If not be prepared to be a slave.

RE: I don't remember mentioning hatred? Must be coming from you?
I am more for anti gov't and pro citizens than corruption...for the record. Not my fault if citizens get brainwashed.
I based my Thailand most corrupt on an article from Bloomberg or Forbes...can't find the link at the moment. As for proof, try Google "Most corrupt countries...or governments
You just need to follow intent...and look at how Thaksin made all his money and all the charges still pending against him.( or turn a blind eye and change the law as you and Puea Thai prefer) The world sees things more as they are.

My wife's best friend just came back from Thailand. She was there during the riots. I asked her: "Why Thai get so hot and bothered about how they politic?"It basically insults the k..ing and makes Thai look bad. In America we had slaves, they fought a civil war, slaves couldn't vote for 100 yrs freely, so we had civil rights. Women couldn't vote until 1920. I was expected to join the airforce when 18 and drop bombs on asian people. I couldn't vote until 21. I refused as a conscientious objector. Those are issues worth fighting for :!:
Not Red, Yellow, green, white. Why are Thai so stupid? I don't get it. :?: Nor do Thais that have left for greener horizons.

Thaksin did not invent corruption, it existed generations before him, he just refined it. Guess what, now he has gone it still exists, even worse in my opinion.

Yep, I can see some repercussions on the horizon, when the people "sober up" and get angry because they can no longer afford their ciggarettes, there will be an ellement of retaliation/resentment.

ian, never mind ranting at villager. we in trang can honestly say the net rapidly getting tighter around most thai people. tighter than around some selfish retired farangs who often have higher pensions (65,000/month) than a teacher at a thai high school earns for a living with his whole family. we can easily afford a few baht more for beer & cigarettes & have friends whose pensions have risen more than 150 baht last year.

Read carefully Mr Pseudo Thai Scy, I was not ranting at villager, of course that is my opinion, he might disagree. However you are definitely ranting at me.

Hey Scy, Ian, sure I Know that the "Squeeze" is on , never the less my dough still go,s twice as far here than it do,s in " Britistan " ,and not really ranting , just firing back at Pappy,s non Stop insults to those who have the guts to still live here, and as you Rightly say Scy what,s a few extra baht to us men of mean,s, LOLOLOL.
