I meant to snip my off-guard remark, (nothing to lose) and replace it with this:

The thing I like best about the legal system in Thailand is that even though I can't understand most of the radio news broadcasts from the latest Lydia tune, I can tell corruption from a mile away!

I much prefer a legal system with "opaque" corruption to a legal system with "transparent" corruption.
