Where is a general forum? Like to say hello

Will someone give me a clue or tell me what to look for?

I am thinking I have looked and not found it yet, so I will just say hi and that
I am from Barstow, California, USA...so hello!

welcome to the bangkok post forum.
the forum section was hacked and seriously damaged two weeks ago
the post's programmers just reinstalled it.
to be honest i also feel a bit desorientated myself , but we are all hoping ( praying ) things will be on track
very soon...

I did see the "general forum", but no place there to make a new post there.
Anyway it is nice to be welcomed.
I like to read the Bangkok post and learn about whats happining around your part of the world.
I noticed limited and or not shown news here in the good ole USA.
Like the unemplyment rate in Thailand is way low, but is made up differently than here.
Another was Ford trucks made in thailand has diesal engines in them, but are NOT sold in USA, they are shiped to england.
And the insurgents in many places, COUNTRIES, Thailand has big problem with them...
These types of things are not included in the news I see in average news reports.
