A 'White People Idea' in regards to the escalating 'Temple'

Just an hour ago, a 'farang facebook friend' of mine had a brilliant idea.

Today, the Bangkok Post reported that "The Thai government has renewed its demand for Phnom Penh to remove a Cambodian national flag flying over a temple on disputed land near the border, and is also now pressing for the temple itself to be dismantled." http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/2 ... ulled-down

Reacting to that article, my 'facebook farang friend', suggested that Cambodia and Thailand created a 'Tax Free Tourist Zone' on the disputed land surrounding 'Preah Vihear' temple. In doing so, both Thai and Cambodia governments, would settled that ancestral dispute and show the world how smart they are...

My response on that 'farang facebook friend' solution to the dispute between Thailand and its neighbouring country:

As people are dying for their freedom in Egypt, Thailand and Cambodia are fighting over a little piece of land. According to an editorial published this morning in the Bangkok Post, that dispute has put Thailand on the verge of yet another 'Coup d'Etat'. http://www.bangkokpost.com/opinion/opin ... rcumstance

There comes the 'White People (mind your own business) Idea':
The Thai and Cambodian Prime Ministers would seat down together in that temple and sign a bitateral agrement, announcing to the world that the ancestral disputed land was from now on a 'Tax Free Tourist Zone'. The historical agreement would also detail the fair 50/50 sharing of the profits to be made from that new zone.
Considering the recent international press coverage, that temple would surely become one of Thailand's and Cambodia's most visited touristical site. Everybody is a winner.
Now. I am allowing myself to write this, because that matter does not only concern the thai and cambodian people; but everybody. Why?
That dispute is not about two countries who are incapable to settle a dispute over a few square metres of land. It is about 'The International League of Crooked Modern Politicians' who are ready to put oil on any fire; if they consider that doing so, will serve their partisan political interests.
In the name of this beautiful country that I love and in the name of the people who are dying for their freedom as I am writing these lines: Enough !!!
