With more than one million LPG-fuelled vehicles now on local roads, the government would like to ban new ones, for safety and other reasons.

LPG has gained popularity as a fuel for vehicles due to its subsidised price. Almost all taxis in Bangkok run on LPG, but the government would prefer drivers seeking alternative fuels to use compressed natural gas (CNG) instead.

95 % of the Taxi are using NGV/CNG and only 3% LPG
I thing, the writer do not understand the system an/or may a mix
there must divided between CNG and LPG
