That's a great idea. If they handle it the competent way they handle the unrest in the south or use the same able people who built Suvarnabhumi Airport this will definitely attract a lot more tourists to Thailand.

You could start to advertise beach holidays as adventure tourism near the nuclear power plant -

yawn...some people insist of bringing up Israel every time some mid-east topic is brought up? Can't you separate ideas.

The problems with Iran, the west and uranium enrichment are quite full with concerns already. Adding complexity -irrelevant complexity - for the sake of validating a playground like moral (they did so we can do it too) adds nothing to the debate. Rather, it sounds more like bigoted rants based on shallow morals that find their way into any conversation loosely related to the mid-east. If you want to talk about Israel, that's fine, then talk about Israel but please spare us your trite Tu quoque arguments.

As a matter of fact, here is a link so you can read a little bit about this informal fallacy...there are many more but this one is common to nearly every mid-east topic.

The US is not alone many are worried about Iran and for good reason. For instance, why would it be building an archaic expensive reactor...instead of say, a light water reactor. The reactors they are building require enriched uranium which can be used for weapons. If they really have no military purpose then why would they choose the expensive and dirty reactor?

It has restricted access to the IAEA and played a cat and mouse game for years. If it really has no military purpose then why you'd think they would be eager to demonstrate this. The truth is that Iran has always wanted to be the center of military and theocratic dictates in the middle east. Their Arab neighbors are scared of them and will seek nuclear arms as well if Iran were to produce a weapon.

Can you imagine the problems in world when even more countries have nukes? Proliferation has to be stopped. Iran's energy needs are legitimate but they are also going to produce weapons. They can produce atomic energy without having to make plutonium enrichment facilities.
