Mr. Farang, if she loves you she will wait for you to go to thailand. one month is NOT enough time... if she marries you in US she will be entitled to US assets as i understand it. in thailand unless formalised at us embassy she cant.. as i understand it.

"Loose as a Goose," I simply meant that you done have your hands in the cook jar. This is why you are so infatuated with this girl. It is so common with these so called Thai girls to catch their fishes with this kind of bait. So it is nothing new to me. Well,...enjoy the cookie and wait to see what happened in Thailand.

Thanks to both of you for your insights. I do agree that my judgement may be skewed as I am very involved in the situation. We've been dating for three months now. I feel comfortable knowing her family well too. I've been friends with her aunt for 3-4 years and have met most of her family already as well. Well, she has 3-4 more months here so I will have to make my decision soon I suppose. I don't think going to thailand will be an option right now with my job. Thanks again.

My Thai fiance had a unregistered "husband/boyfriend" before with one child. The family can't escape that fact. so, it's obvious and goes without saying that she's not a virgin.
