Non Immigrant O Visa

Non Immigrant O Visa

Postby Mr. Isaan on Tue Aug 31, 2010 10:31 am

I have a Non Immigrant O Visa, Multiple Entry, as I far as I know I have to leave Thailand every 90 days, on the return I will be permitted to stay another 90 days. Someone told me, I don´t have to leave Thailand, just report to the nearest Immigration Office, like the people on a Retirement Visa or Marriage Visa.
Is this true?

Non"O" covers quite a few different situations. As far as I'm aware if you have a straight-forward "O" and are not retired here or married to a Thai citizen then you have to leave the country.

I am married for about 10 years, but not retired.

I would hesitatingly suggest you check with Immigration. but they are notorious for giving incorrect advice.
I'm surprised you haven't had some good advice from Farang friends?

maybe a visa agency could help......you might need to change the character of your visa.
