Tennis

The Thailand Open tennis tournament attracts the top players in the world. The 2010 tournament in late September will feature world number 1, Rafael Nadal.

The Pattaya Women's Open Tennis Tournament has been played annually for the last 17 years. Held in February.


Ice Hockey

Local teams including the Flying Farangs, face off on Tuesday evenings at Imperial World Plaza Ice Skating Rink, Samrong, Bangkok during their annual season.

The Thais have an eleven team league where teams named the Walruses face-off against squads like the Grizzlies, Peanuts and an all girl's team called the Polar Bears.

Every October, the Farangs host an international hockey tournament. Teams have come from as far away as Russia, Canada, and the Czech Republic to face regional regulars, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Beijing and Tokyo. Thailand is represented by the "Flying Farangs," and the Thai National team.

The 16th Annual International Charity Ice Hockey Tournament takes place October 26-30, 2010
