Beer Bars North of Pattaya .

Recently during walkabout with my friends we have come across three beer bars in different areas of North of Pattaya which we were told these places are reserved for members only, for almost seventeen years I have been coming into this country I have never come across beer bar for members only.

To answer in advance for all those who will ask about our records, we are old gentleman well respected group and across the board clean.

Coming back to these strange areas, we tried to find out much more the following days about the truth on the ground of such approach, and to our surprise we were told un official that most of this bar customers are those who do not want to mix with coloured people, that’s why owners are keen to keep people of equator away (coloured), Question is it right do this way? And is it allowed to segregate people just to please others without humanitarian justifiable reason?

The Old gentleman group.

Racism, xenophobia and discrimination are all alive and kicking in the wonderful LOS.

BTW, does LOS still stand for Land of Smiles, or has it been officially changed to Land of Shame yet????

 Please let’s not generalize the issues to wider LOS. Land Of Smiles.
Pattaya is a wonderful place and so many beer bars are not practicing these bad habits. Concerns are if it is allowed to start one or two pocket within the area and many may follow the path without looking into its future reputation damage it may cause of such a magnificent and beautiful area like CITY.

I lived in Japan for 3 years and saw that frequently. They wanted to exclude all foreigners in these bars. If business is down as much as they say it is in Pattaya, they may regret thier member-only policy real soon.

I’m one of those who would like not to see Pattaya sinking into financial crisis as it has been a haven for many of good people around the world. Let’s hope some one press a button to get these bad habits sorted out at a very early stage. Suggestion any tourist who is refused to enter into such a place like this should direct his/her concern to ???????? who “””” here is the question can any body answer this to close the equation pls.

You got me wrong. They allow whom they want and send out any body they don’t want for any reasons – no body exactly know the criteria to tell you the truth. Lets hope things will change for better.

In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.
