vans to the airport

Have you ever wondered how the cleaning staff get to the airport? Surely they can't afford to pay over 300 baht to get to a job that pays 200 baht! So if you travel light like I do, do like the locals do and take a van. If you are arriving at the airport, go to the ground floor and turn left. At the end is a secret bus stop (secret in that there is no English). A free yellow bus will come and take you to the bus/van terminal. From there you can take an air-conditioned bus or van to every part of Bangkok for about 35 baht. If you want to go to the airport, a quick way is to catch a van from the Victory Monument (40 baht) across the street from McDonald's. It goes on the expressway and takes about 30 minutes. If you are encumbered with luggage and companions, a taxi makes more sense, but for singles with hand luggage, it's the only way to go!

Can’t confirm this but read where there is a van service from BTS SkyTrain On Nut station to Suvarnabhumi. Trip starts at the parking lot of Lotus-Tesco. Costs 50 THB for 45-minute ride.

Apparently the van stops at the ground floor of the airport terminal, so may not be convenient for travellers with big/heavy bags.
