Phillip Securities (Thailand) Plc has entered into an agreement with Horizon Software Bangkok Ltd, for the deployment of a new trading platform that will become Phillip's core trading system. Horizon's platform is multi-market and supports both the Equities and Derivatives Markets; it was carefully selected with the aim to empower both Phillip's Internet trading system and its primary front-office system. The platform will also allow Phillip to bridge the gap with its head-office in Singapore, going a step further in achieving the objective of building a global network.
Phillip's chief executive Prachaya Kulvanichpisit said: "we see a huge potential in Horizon's platform, due to its strong performance and great flexibility. Also, having a local based team is a key strength as Horizon understands well Thai market's specificities and can respond to them quickly".
