Visiting Koh Samui and Phuket

Postby gukguk on Wed Apr 13, 2011 4:10 pm

Hi !
I'm going to visit Koh Samui and Phuket in three weeks.
Is the situation okay now in Koh Samui?
I heard there is flooding in that area.
Is it safe and things has get back to normal ?
How about Phuket ?
I read that right now is rainy season in phuket.
Is the rain really that bad ?
can we still do snorkeling and diving ?
Thanks

Hello gukguk,

Koh Samui is fine we now have the weather which is normal for April. The weather for two weeks ago was a weather situation most of the people living here never have seen at this time of the year. It was even worse than the rain season where the weather can be bad special in November.

I am not sure how bad the weather is right now in Phuket.

I wish you a great holiday in Koh Samui.

I have went in and out of the are for a number of times already and never had I experienced something traumatic about it.

If you are talking about the dangers of travel, it occurs at any part of the world and even the powerful countries would even pose a lot tougher problems with it. So I suggest that if you are traveling, remove all inhibitions so that you will enjoy. That is the essence of traveling for me to say the least.

Hello everyone! I am new to the forum. I know that forums are a good place to learn and interact with other people , so that People can share their experience with each other. I had spent many time in Phuket and I think this is a safe place for visitors.
