Is it so difficult for authorities in Pattaya to make crossing the road in Pattaya a safe exercise,
2nd rd and Marine pde in particular---it would be so easy to put in some pedistrian crossings---and if cars and bikes did not stop--make the penalty--loss of licence ( if they have one) and/or confiscation of their vehicle for a month or so.

I can not count the times-- you see a break in trafffic--start to cross the road and then the car/bikes deliberatly speed up to cause you to either stop or run.

given that late in the evening many of these pedistrians are inebriated--makes it twice as dangerous

If you run over a drunk tourist and you play your cards right, you should be able to get him or his surviving family to pay for the damage his body did to the front of your car, as long as you can convince the police that he was A: a tourist and B: drunk, which isn't all that hard to prove beyond reasopnable doubt. :lol:

we have cross walks....but people still get run over :?


but you're right...more crossings would help the situation.
