Yes agree with Chaiyuth - please stop replying to that kid. He'll be left with no choice but to debate with himself..

And yes, I also agree with your premise, thais and foreigners have lived here in harmony - learning from each other for years (Chinese, Westerners, Japanese, Indians, etc) - it's only the fact that the upper classes are so hostile to the masses now that the issue of pluralism - especially from the Westerners willing to stand up for one person one vote (alongside the Thais - though many of them are afraid to do so) has come down to a stand-off.

It's worthy of note that as Westerners, we have a history of opposing aristocracy and fascism in favour of pluralism - thus the vocalism - not to mention that many have kids born here and are duty-bound to stand up for their rights as Thai citizens.

There are some foreign exceptions - England where many in the working classes have been hoodwinked into supporting the oppression (channel the hatred toward immigrant workers), some in Spain post-franco (though not most), and a few other minor countries. Overall, most of us have family members uncles, gt-uncles etc, who fought and died for the right to one-erpson-one-vote. So this shouldn't be a surprise.

Getting back to your topic Just-1, you took the ball and played it, fair enough. I was away a few days and did not get to read that other apparently silly topic. First thanks to everybody, you saved me some time reading the topic and replies. Now I am just going to ignore it. Can not be any good or interesting anyways.

To what you write in your topic, well that is reality, and even most PAD champions are aware of what would happen if we would just pack it up and leave. They do not want that, because the real big players behind the pad-friends, yellow shirts and co, they enrich themselves thanks to us foreigners.

You know, I do not think that they meant all of us to leave anyways, just the NotKnowAnythingAboutThailandIgnorantStupidForeigners with an own opinion who post their 2 pennies worth here.

Hey, Justice,

Pardon me, but your ignorance is showing. First, I was merely outlining what would happen if all foreigners were kicked out, or left, as suggested by one of your own PAD devotees.

I'm speaking about your comments in regards to my father. Let me enlighten you.

My father came from a very poor family in the southern part of the United States. He had to quit school at the age of 16 to go to work and help support his family. At 18 he joined the army and served in Korea, where he was decorated multiple time for bravery in saving the lives of other soldiers.

I was 5 when he met my mother, 6 when they married, and he legally adopted me when I was 8. I real Irish father had abandoned my mother while she was pregnant with me.

The man I love, respect, and call my father worked 2 jobs at times in order to achieve the dreams he had. Through hard work, wise investing, and treating people fairly, he was able to achieve those dreams. At the age of 40 he became a millionaire from all of this. Yet, he is still a humble man in many respects, still treats everyone the same, regardless of who they are or what their social/economic situation in life may be, and lives by the motto that a man is only as good as his word.

HI All,

I am a Thai national and just wanted to let all the Thais and foreigners here know that "these educated buffalos" are just racists imbeciles. The vast majority of Thais do not share these angry thoughts of the few thai psychos.

In any case, I enjoy reading all the posts from the Thais and foreigners in this forum who have presented different view while being constructive. As for imbeciles... leave them ranting.

Cheers all,

Just-1-voice, I agree with your father’s motto, but I think that a man should not only be as good as his word but as well and even more important, as good as his acts. Example? I may promise that I am prepared to destroy a whole country for the sakes of me and my cronies. I may keep my word but I would not consider myself a good person for what I have done. “Be good in live and live will be good with you”, is what my father used to say, and he does not even have an idea about Buddhism.

Ohh, Just-1, an insult does normally not hurt so much, knowing from who it comes from. Justice and his dad fought wars? I wonder what wars they fought? Maybe in an other life?
