"Political Assignation"?

"Political Assignation"?

Postby DrKillpatient on Sat May 15, 2010 5:52 am

Is there any reason why the shooting of General Khattiya Sawasdipol was not deemed to be an attempt at "Political Assignation" , there seems no recognition of this with the local or international press,

normally these events comes under heavy condemnation.

I am not not a conspiracies freak but it was rather ironic that he was speaking to foreign journalists when he was shot, with the fatal shooting of the Japanese Reuters journalist and three others being shot today perhaps the

the Thai Army marksman missed their target and were attempting to put add a notch on their rifle butt of another journalist, with double points to boot.

Political assassination? The Government has announced that it was an unseen hand and who are we to challenge whatever this failed government says in its propoganda anymore. Every government weapon should have had a proof firing with a record kept so recovery of the said bullet should lead back to the rifle owner who of course will claim that he lost it somewhere years ago. This is Thailand, home of the untruth and the double standard.

I will be interested to see who is in favor of the Assignation and their reason for it and mainly what they think it will achieve. It would have taken an expert marksman to do that shot missing journalists by mm. whenever there is a shooting I believe someone knows who did it and ordered it and will eventually someday talk about it. It might even take years even 20 years when the culprit’s and who ordered the shooting's think it has all gone away there will be a knock at the door, that’s if their lucky. For the rest of their life they will be waiting for that Knock they will lay awake at night next their wives waiting for that knock. I think each time someone is injured by excessive force the under sided people of Thailand move closer to the side of the red shirts.
I know Thais fully believe in what goes around comes around!

These Red shirts use sticks, poles, n stoness..I can see it from the foreign news n photos from the foreign journalists.
The govt warned foreign jprnalist to avoid the area...how to stop such news? gee...just a riot n so many foreign journalist got shot! a warning to foreign news? why are the govt n army place so many snipers on roof top? jungle warfare?
And the red shirt leader shot thro his head...an accuracy n tactics trained in the army. Who gave the order? If you can't arrest them, you eliminates.... What an idea!
That hypocrite AB must be worse than those war criminal in Cambodia n the Nazi. At least they are upfront, but this PM talks about reconciliation but behind, order the army to take over the area at all cost! Thinking removing the leader will ease the riot but the red shirts have their patience. A non voilent protest will definitely turn into a nightmare. If the red shirt will be forcefully dislogded, worse, they would go underground and practise hit & run tactics and the "Land of Smiles" will be gone forever! Guess one dont have to guess whose the first victims be if the Red shirts go underground n practise voilence.
So many people get killed, dont the PM feel bad...no? ...he will be if the red shirt goes underground n armed. He better run away with his family if the Red shirt goes armed. civil war? Nah...worse..hit n run tactics..the whole cabinet n even the army heads who had a part in killing the protester will have to run out of the country!
PM is trying to justify himself by calling them terrorists,,haha...they will be..just a matter of time..
He had commit so many mistakes (like legalise the yellow shirts takeover of Bangkok Airport), he will do anything at all cost to covered his misdeed/mistake as turning back, he will lose everything or even his life.
During Thaksin time, I went to thailand at least once a months bcos of its friendly people, eat, shopping, shopping...what happen? This ABi took over n no peace since....

Nothing unusual for a leader of the opposition to be assassinated and nothing unusual for the telescope-equipped sharpshooter to disappear from view. What 's unusual is for reporters and photographers to be gunned down as well. At least five so far. Did the prime minister order these attempted assassinations? Of course and it you know anything of the British colonial domination of India and other "primitive" societies, you know exactly what this British-born and educated p.m. learned and is practicing today. Keep the natives in their place. Don't negotiate with them for they consider that a sign of weakness. Above all, try to kill off their leaders and as many of their ignorant followers as you can.

The only trouble is, these natives truly are natives of your own Thailand and they and their families will not go away no matter how many you kill. Shooting live rounds into the bodies of your fellow citizens armed only with sharpened bamboo poles and old tires, it doesn't seem civilized. So maybe this prime minister is really the one who should be condemned for incredibly disreputable behavior (war crimes, really) and for destroying Thai society (Oh not the Bangkok high society, silly. They'll go on forever).
