The rich and the poor
The rich and the poor
compared with European companies, that calculate 7 to 9% only. And also why do you can buy some Thai products in
abroad cheaper than in Thailand in better quality than in Thailand?

Sorry, you are a bit off there on the profit margin.
Generally, US/European companies won't touch any project that has less than 40% profit margin while the Chinese are completely elated with anything above 10%
I'm not sure what Thai products you are complaining about.
If you are talking about consumer goods from discount outlets or night markets, they are probably seconds or fakes
AND you failed haggling 101 if it costs you more that what you would pay overseas.

We not talk about grossprofit, I kindly ask me to name some US or European Companies with more than 40% net profit,
that I can buy some shares in the stockmarket immediately. So my investment might double every two years.
The Thai products I mentioned are products like harddiscs or other electronic equipment, not some fake stuff one might
buy at some nightmarkets.

Just to mention up front that we are on the wrong thread to be discussing price of tea in China and stock market at length.
Apple used to make >200% profit on everything they sold back in the late 80s, that's before Skully knocked it down to 8.5% and almost killed the company.
IBM dumped their HDD division a little while back because they were making ONLY 30% profit.
The companies I used to work for never touch any prgram unless we can project a minimum of 45% gross.
Net is a bit difficult to determine since they write off all the expenses against income and show as little as they can cook the book or hide.
Stocks price/value, OTOH, does not quite reflect the company's actual performance as the market is more of a sactioned gambling den than an institution of investment.
Waiting for investment to double every TWO years ?
Surely you jest.
The only thing I'm holding long are the turkeys I'm losing money on and never THAT long.
In that regard, if you had bought AAPL in the past 2 days, either Monday, or Tues, at $241 you would have made 10% over night, or a few hours.
30% if you bought SOLF at $7 on June 30 and held for 3 weeks, 50% in same period if you had bought BP at $27.
If you had picked up UAUA at around $7 late last year you would have made >200% when it spiked to $23.5 by mid April.
That's tripling your money in 5 months.
The trick, like anything else, is good timing and a lot of luck.
About the electronics products.
Thailand does not have an advance R/D, design, or manufacturing facility.
Not a single semiconductor fab of any kind and I think just one assembly house left (on Soi LaSalle).
So HDD and such may be assembled in Thailand but they are not Thai Product, per se.
What that ended up 4sale in Thailand, even though they were assembled locally, are subjected to import tax and
in Thailand you are penalized with high tax rate as the govt. consider them luxury item (guess where all the collected taxes went).
Some electronics that you find at lower cost actually found their way out of the back dock at the factory, as the sales people told me, or a fake/seconds.
