student need visa for wife

Greetings!
I'm thinking to study in Thailand, and would like to bring my girlfriend(future wife) she has a child. I've sent an e-mail to the university twice, but they didn't answere about this. I know the univ will help me with documentation, but what about my GF and child?

would it be easier if I were to start a business and get her one that way? To make it simple--what's the easiest way? Thanks
