Phuket is good place for golfer

I agree the golfing is very good in Phuket. I do have a problem with the prices as they seem to be fairly expensive no matter what course I played. With the economy doing poorly through out the world I would hope the cost could and would be more reasonable. But yes, the golf is very good in Phuket.

Yes, most of them is still expensive when comapre to Bangkok or Chaing Mai. Even get discount the price still around 2,000-2,300 Bt. Where in Bangkok or Chiang Mai, you can play less than 1,000 Bt a round.

Phuket golf courses are outrageously expensive but when you cater to customers (tourists) who are used to paying $100++ per round - go for it. Despite these charges golf courses in Phuket have historically had a difficult time to make ends meet. Golf value for money remains in the central and northern regions.
