Further considerations for the 10 million baht compensation

So Jatuporn Prompan reckons the 92 victims of the riots last year should each get 10 million baht in compensation.

While some may be innocent of the violence and unrest that took place, many are not. so compensation for all of them is questionable to say the least.

I agree with the writer Khun Veera Prateepchaikul when he quite rightly observes, and I part quote for reference only:-

To this day the disgusting and inhumane treatment of the victims and their families of the infamous massacre of the Tak Bai and the Krue Se innocents have been blatantly ignored and persuance of justice left at a stand still.

I would also like to add to this for consideration, the 2500 - 5000 victims of the heinous, deliberate massacre of the EJK,s, alledgedlly carried out to rid Thailand of the drug cartells ect. ect.

Sadly and alarmingly the suppliers escaped to carry on as they did prior and to this day still carry out their evil trade.

Oh and yes let us prioritise / put each of the above in order of who should be considered first going be when they occured.

Reconciliation for anyone will never happen until those responsible are held to account and receive their just punishments
for these crimes

The verdict is still out on who is to be held to account for the events of last April / May while everyone knows who was overseeing the murder of innocents in the others.

A certain ex PM who happens to be on the run from what I would term as a minor offence against the country and it,s citizens.

He is incidently on the run to escape a conviction and consequent ( as of yet unserved ) punishment of 2 years in prison.

He chose to ignore these evil doings even though he was fully aware of what was happening and indeed blatanlty and inhumanely refused to intervene ( it was all well documented in the media and leaves no doubt of this )

Perhaps the new government will first of all consider these, as of yet long overdue incidents and should the person / ex CEO ever set foot in Thailand, take him straight to jail and while it is late in the day, make him accountable for his role and much publicised arrogant inhumanity towards the innocents killed who were murdered.

Jaturporn, why not address these long overdue offences before continually going on about the ones killed in recent times.

You have long demonstrated your affections for the people of the North East, many of whom your supporters will possibly be related to many of the EKJ,s and at the very least be familiar with lots of the unfortunates, so why not use your influence and position to addres, or at the very least ask questions and get some answers.

You are also from the South so surely your sympathies ought to be given in part to the unfortunate victims of the Tak Bai and the Krue Se incidents.

Hypocrisy and disgraceful sums you up IMHO

Then again, I won,t hold my breath waiting for you to request an immediate investigation when you get the first opportunity to do so when parliament sits opens.

We all know why of course don,t we !!!!
