Refugee or Temporary Migrant?
Refugee or Temporary Migrant?
I would be most grateful if someone could please give me some idea when the water has receded in both areas mentioned? I am checking the internet daily and watching TV, however, it now appears all reports are about inner Bkk, please draw your own conclusions on that!
Any information about the flooding in Khlong Sam and Rangsit Market would be very gratefully received on this forum.
Thankyou to anyone who can help me.

Re: Refugee or Temporary Migrant?
My apartment is opposite Rangsit Market and I left on Friday as the water was about thigh height and my apartment told me that it was likely to get worse and the water and electricity would be turned off. I've asked the staff to let me know when everything is operating as normal so I can return, but I'm using Future Park as my guide as when to go back, because obviously they won't open the doors while there is any big risk of flooding. Dream World has also said it's closed until 31st at least, so not expecting to hear any good news before then!
No idea about the other area, but I am currently staying in Pak Kred (the non-flooded bit), near Central Plaza Chaeng Wattana, and apart from bottled water being in short supply, most other things seem to be operating as normal! No water on the roads, and the small canal running along side my apartment here would have to rise at least 1m before it breached the banks. Hasn't risen since I got here so fingers crossed it stays that way.
Hope that helps
