The illegal raids on Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailalnd

I would love to know whether theses illegal raids have had Media coverage in Thailand as they are headline news all around the World.
It is blatantly clear from all the responses this will badly effect Tourism in Thailand.
Does anyone there care ?

FYI news reports are as follows

On Monday, February 13, 2012 over 60 officials and armed men from Thailand’s Department of National Parks raided the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand after they received an anonymous call that falsely accused the center of illegally possessing animals and housing them in torturous conditions.

In reality, the raid on the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) appears to be an attempt by poachers and others involved in Thailand’s illegal wildlife trade to stop Edwin Wiek, founder of the WFFT, from speaking out against their illegal poaching activities. All of the animals at the WFFT were legally acquired and rescued out of captive, abusive situations. Every animal also lives in an enclosure vastly superior to other locations in Thailand and routinely receives top-notch veterinary service.

Despite the facts and legal documents, the Department of National Parks (DNP) has begun confiscating animals from the center and transporting them to government zoos, breeding centers, or unspecified locations. The DNP has employed brutal tactics to capture the animals. Officials have beaten many of the animals with bamboo sticks or other poles and, in one instance, almost drowned a macaque to death during such “rescue” attempts. The veterinary staff at the WFFT has also been barred from aiding the injured animals

Unfortunatly these subjects have never been of interest from any government in the last 5 decades in Thailand, because every official and influent person has made money from the illegal trade or has got tea money from it, and we got those animals for free from "our Lord" so why should we care??
As long as we do not break that attitude we get nowhere!!
